What we look for
We invest in European tech companies that show early proof points of success, have momentum and who are typically raising a series A, B or C round. Here are some things we look for in a partner.
- Scaleable business model We look for hypergrowth companies with undeniable momentum. They add customers and revenue at staggering speed (proof of a great market fit) and can achieve even more, faster, with additional capital.
- A large market to unlock We like companies that solve real pain points. They’re set to seize a multi-billion-euro opportunity, driven by big market shifts that are playing out in their favour.
- A team that can execute A good idea without a team to execute it, will remain just an idea. We back teams that have shown they can execute to where they are today, but also have the vision, ambition and perseverance needed to scale a company at high-speed.
- Strong competitive position We invest in businesses that are creating a strong and sustainable competitive advantage. They’re ahead of the game and will continue to be so because of superior technology, better CX, network effects, better unit economics, etc.
Our approach
Focus. We purposefully invest in only a small number of companies each year. We don’t place bets or scatter our capital widely. We see our investments as long term partnerships, and that's how we treat them.
